Dr. Redleaf is an ear subspecialist.
Professor Redleaf has more than 30 years of surgical experience and comes to New Mexico to try to help the under-serviced population.
Usually patients come to her/them through referrals from other specialists.
Dr. Redleaf provides ear services in New Mexico, Illinois, and Ethiopia. She/they are very experienced and comfortable with caring for patients at a distance. They have used tele-medicine for years before the pandemic.

They founded and co-direct an otologic surgery training fellowship in Ethiopia – the only one in that country of 100 million. They maintain very close relations with an ear surgery hospital in Bangalore India, having co-authored many articles with these specialists and having repeatedly traveled there for their yearly conference. In recent years they have established a home and professional reputation in Albuquerque, New Mexico, trying to provide ear services to this underserved population.
Dr. Redleaf has used pre-operative video conferencing within Illinois for ten years, and has even monitored live surgery in Ethiopia from their location in Chicago. They are very accustomed to a varied schedule, varied locations, and using technology to communicate with patients.
